Undergraduate Opportunities

run by the International Institute for Nanotechnology and the Department of Chemistry, seeks to emphasize the connection between material taught in introductory freshman science courses and topics in modern laboratory research

Paid internships for science and engineering undergraduates from schools around the county to engage in full-time research with IIN students and faculty over the summer. Includes stipend, travel, and on-campus housing.

Additional Programs

All Scout Nano Day

This annual event has brought over 1,600 Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Venturing Crew members to the Northwestern campus to learn about nanotechnology.

Nano Boot Camp for Clinicians

Clinicians and medical students can learn about nanotechnology, recent advances in the field, and prospects for translating those advances to the clinic.
