Pam joined the IIN staff in August 2011 and assumed responsibility for financial management of Professor Mirkin’s grant portfolio, coordination of grant proposals, and support of the 50+ researchers encompassing payroll and effort functions, purchasing support, and other administrative processes. With such a variety and volume of tasks, Pam’s outstanding organizational skills, bachelor’s degree in Finance, and an MBA in Accountancy from DePaul University are particularly important. She also brings a diverse background in commercial credit/lending, corporate accounting and budgets, real estate appraisal, and small business ownership to the table. Pam and her husband, Fred, have two sons, Andrew in Chicago, and Zach in Denver. When not working, Pam emjoys spending time with family, walking her dog-Yadi, biking, hiking, and reading.
