The International Institute for Nanotechnology (IIN) at Northwestern University is pleased to announce that J. Douglas Gray, Managing Partner of Marshall Street Capital and a Life Trustee of the Northwestern University Board of Trustees, has joined its Executive Council. Doug’s background in investment management and strategic leadership will help guide the IIN as it continues to expand its global reach.

“I’m delighted to welcome Doug to the Executive Council,” said Chad Mirkin, Director of the IIN. “His leadership and broad strategic perspective will be invaluable as we continue to expand the Institute’s reach and foster collaborations that accelerate innovation at the nanoscale.”

Doug serves on the Boards of Trustees of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and is a former Chair of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Miami University and attended the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Please join us in welcoming J. Douglas Gray to the IIN Executive Council. We look forward to his insight and leadership as we continue to shape the future of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
