IIN Postdoctoral Fellowships

These prestigious awards support brilliant young scientists and engineers from institutions around the country as they conduct independent research under the mentorship of world-class nanoscience and nanotechnology researchers at the IIN. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the field, IIN Postdoctoral Fellows are afforded the opportunity to work across traditional departmental boundaries.

Qualified candidates must have demonstrated innovation, as well as outstanding achievement in their doctoral research, and possess independent research abilities and ambitious scientific goals.

It includes a $75,000 stipend and travel funds to attend scholarly meetings. In addition, you will be part of the IIN Postdoctoral Fellows community of scholars with the accompanying enhanced recognition and presentation opportunities.
