Guanyu Lu and Kaitlin Landy named 2026 CAS Future Leaders

Guanyu Lu, the inaugural IIN Sir Fraser Stoddart Postdoctoral Fellow and Kaitlin Landy, former IIN Ryan Fellow and Mirkin Group Member, have been named 2026 CAS Future Leaders.  

Established in 2010 by CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the prestigious program provides early career scientists with opportunities to strengthen their leadership skills, engage in scientific discourse, and connect with peer scientists and innovators from around the world. The program has grown into a global network with 400 alumni and continues to recognize exceptional PhD students and postdoctoral scholars in chemistry and related sciences.  

This year’s participants were selected from hundreds of highly qualified applicants representing a wide range of scientific disciplines and organizations worldwide. Lu and Landy’s selection places them among an outstanding group of emerging scientific leaders.
