Chicago Sun-Times: SNA technology “game changer” in cancer treatment

A recent Chicago Sun-Times article highlights the role of spherical nucleic acids (SNAs), created by IIN Director Chad Mirkin, in creating a pipeline of new cancer vaccines that are just a few years away from wide-spread use. SNAs boost a patient’s immune system, training figher cells (T-cells) to hone in on certain types of cancerous cells and destroy them. Read more.
