Three Leaders Honored with 2025 Kabiller Prize and Awards

The International Institute for Nanotechnology (IIN) is delighted to announce the 2025 recipients of the Kabiller Prize in Nanoscience and Nanomedicine, the Kabiller Young Investigator Award, and the Kabiller Rising Star Award. These prestigious honors recognize scientists whose visionary research is redefining what is possible at the nanoscale and driving discoveries that improve human health and well-being.

Established and administered by the IIN, the Kabiller Prize and Awards honor extraordinary achievements that are shaping the future of nanotechnology worldwide. This year’s honorees are:

Dr. Nicholas Peppas, Professor & Director of the Institute for Biomaterials, Drug Delivery and Regenerative Medicine, Cockrell Family Regents Chair in Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin

 

Dr. Nathan Gianneschi, Jacob and Rosaline Cohn Professor of Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University

 

Dr. Michael J. Mitchell, Associate Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania
