Christine Laramy received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Her research is currently focused on the development of methods to understand the structure of nanomaterials and to direct the hierarchical assembly of nanoscale building blocks using biomolecules. This research involves a fundamental understanding of crystallization processes and oligonucleotide interactions as well as the development of high-throughput algorithmic analysis tools. Ultimately, this research is important for future applications in catalysis, optoelectronic devices, and pharmaceutical formulations.
