The International Institute for Nanotechnology (IIN) at Northwestern University invites applications for a tenure-line faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor commencing in fall 2021.
The candidate’s research should be focused on nanotechnology while being broadly interdisciplinary. Areas of interest include biomedical engineering, chemistry, materials science & engineering, chemical & biological engineering, and molecular biosciences. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of excellence in research, teaching, and scholarship. Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate students as well as building an original and truly outstanding research program.
This posting will remain open until filled; however, first consideration will be given to applications received by November 15, 2020. Applications will only be accepted via online submission.
Complete applications must include a cover letter, executive research statement, three letters of recommendation, and copies of recent publications. Junior faculty should also include a teaching statement.
