For over a decade, the IIN has organized the annual International Institute for Nanotechnology Symposium. This all day conference features presentations by renowned nanotechnology researchers from around the world, and provides an excellent venue to enhance interactions and encourage collaborations. Over the years, the symposium has become so popular that it was necessary to move the venue off campus (growing from ~350 attendees in 2005 to over 820 attendees in 2014).
Please register today for the 2015 IIN Symposium: October 1, 2015 in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Orrington Hotel in Evanston, IL. Attendance is offered free of charge due to the generous support from our sponsors.

There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom" was a lecture given by physicist and Nobel laureate Richard Feynman at an American Physical Society meeting at Caltech on December 29,1959. Feynman considered the possibility of direct manipulation of individual atoms. The talk is considered to be a groundbreaking event in the history of nanotechnology, as it inspired the conceptual beginnings of the field decades later.
