Hongda Zhang received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. His research work is currently focused on the study of gas adsorption and separation in metal-organic frameworks. This research mainly involves computational techniques including molecular modeling and quantum mechanics calculation, and is important for use in future applications, like energy storage and biofuel purification.
